The importance of a prayer life can do great things, like getting your family members saved. Prayer can build a hedge around you and your loved ones to protect them from danger. Prayer can dispatch angels to act on your behalf. Our message to you is to build a powerful prayer lifestyle in yourself that brings you into a closer and more intimate relationship with God. You are created to praise and worship God daily. Let me prove this in the scriptures you read below.

The Bible says in Luke 18:1, "… men ought always to pray, and not to faint." Jesus said in Matthew 21:13 "…My house shall be called the house of prayer…" And in I Corinthians 6:19 "…know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"

1) In Matthew 21, Jesus was speaking of a physical house, the Temple in Jerusalem.

2) But after Jesus ascended into heaven, according to I Corinthians 6:19, God made us His house, the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Yes, we are the House of Prayer. This is an awesome revelation that shows how much He desires to be in us, to commune and fellowship with us daily.

The act of prayer builds a hedge of protection around you and for others. In Ezekiel 22:30, God was looking for praying people, "And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

The most important prayer, however, is the prayer of repentance. We must make sure that our hearts are right, and that we have no sin in our lives that could keep God from hearing our petitions.
